To Begin with ....

It all started with the homecoming of this, just another child on 12th Nov 1982...The journey began from a small Govtt. colony in the serene surroundings of DehraDun, a green valley, in the womb of the Himalyas in India.DehraDun has been famous for its schooling since ages and is still coming of age with the technological advances in education lately. Lucky to have studied from St. Joseph's Academy, I got my first insight into the fun @ school only as late as when I was in class IXth(Goin to school was a real drag to me until then :) )...And what made school interesting?.......Books?...Friends?..........Naaaaaaaah...It was busty gals steppin into their adoloscence ;)..Those tight white shirts and middie skirts ......Phew ...What better cud the originator of education bestow us lads with?
So, you took me seriously there eh?...Wehl....You may ... if you wud like to ..hehehe...
Another thing that I picked up from school was to write Poems...Poems...yes...There was this friend of mine,Pankaj, who used to write poems and I got inspired from him and guess what was the title of my first poem?..."Pankaj is my best friend"...lols...But I've surely come a long way from there...Poems gradually became a real 'thing' for me...
Next came in my introduction to this gang of ours at school in my high school...A bunch of a dozen guys who wud just laugh it out all the time...Stealin tiffin boxes, right from the second period onwards and targetin different classmates everytime. And then with our mouthsful would start the race...The Race?...Yea, hooligans running across the field coz one of the gangmates had run away with the last tiffin in the loot of the day!!!...Those were the days ...Crushes, Infatuations...Proposes...And we were all still happy in our own world...But does that mean we were the backbenchers and failed miserably at the exams? Not quite so...On the contrary we were the favorite lot of the school...The top rankers...(Okie okie I'll admit not the toppers :)...but quite amongst 'em).Even our classteacher, would sit down with our gang and give us Gyan on the Birds n the Bees. She was our Guru and we would not forget her ever...Ms Rashmi..mind you "Miss"... ;)
Then came an end to all that fun once we had to step outta school and look towards our career...Alas!!!A brief break to that Saga........From here we moved onto ....
THE FORMATIVE YEARS
